Finally get to use my Fluke thermal imaging camera to monitor audience and room temperatures. A nice warm room makes for a great rock show. Too hot and people pass out and complain, not necessarily in that order. To cold and it feel all isolated and people don’t take off their coats and make themselves at home for the party.

Yard sale in the sky. Either that or the stage right PA for Peppers’ arena show #1 rocking Budapest. If you looking close you should see 50 boxes plus power.

Arena gigs, here we come. Stage right 48 of the 50 flown brown boxes awaiting lift off. A pair of flown ARCs for center fill not shown. That’ll make an even 100 up and 36 subs on the deck for what should offer a substantial amount of clean clear coverage at premium sound levels.

The newest Soundtools product is nearly done. The “WallCat” allows 4 balanced XLR lines to mount in an AC wall box. Each WallCat has a RJ45 in and thru. Initially there will be a four mallet or four female XLR version. A 2 male and 2 female version will be available next year. This means you can string inexpensive sheilded cat5/6/7 cable through the building and either use it for high quality audio.
