Dual 18"/dual 15"/dual 10"/2"/1" Quad amp w/ subs on an auxiliary send
We found the horns we were searching for in order to
complete the design. The baffle is so densely loaded that every
speaker physically touches another component and the tweeter horn
overlaps the 15"s. This is it, a combination that is loud, small,
excellent coverage from box to box and extremely hi-fi. It easily
reaches or surpasses the volume levels of horn loaded systems while
maintaining the "studio monitor" fidelity we set out to achieve. Minimal
system EQ is required compared to other systems and it requires no
processor. It maintained the ability to be configured as a line
array and additionally we were able to utilize the system in a "Spherical
Segment Array" configuration. The compact size, narrow horizontal
dimension and component configuration, allowed the system to maintain
a high percentage of the horizontal benefits of the line array and
dramatically surpass the vertical coverage patterns of a conventional
line array. We designed an extremely versatile and safe flying system
for the full range box that allows the flown system to be angled in
both the vertical and horizontal axis. When flown, the system
hangs as a "spherical segment". At 220 pounds a box, 8 boxes
hang from a single one ton motor point. These boxes have proven themselves
from clubs to arenas to stadiums worldwide.
