The Rat MicroWedge™ was designed as a
solution to offering a compact an extremely attractive wedge monitor
to fulfill applications that people were using Claire 12am's while
still being loud enough to cover the demand for high SPL. The response
to these wedges was so overwhelming that we approached several quality maniufacturers to see if there was interest in manufacturing and marketing
them. Almost immediately we licensed the design and the 12"
versions are available now with 15" and 8" versions coming soon.
This unique design embraces much of what we have learned throughout
the years.
No parallel walls to eliminate standing waves inside the enclosure
The connectors are inside the port, concealing cables from the audience
and safely away from the artists feet.
Port is coupled to the floor to extend low frequency response.
Trapezoidal sides minimize the distance between drivers when more
than one wedge is used.
Ultra hard textured matte black finish resists abrasion.
Operates biamp or full range, switchable on the bottom of the wedge.
