Kanye West Grammy Party 2005 |
Rat was pleased to be asked to
do the Grammy Party for Kanye West; The Rap artist nominated for
TEN! Grammys!
First was a day of set ups for the Rat Traps. These were placed behind the
curtains and the curtains
placed the next day once the sound was in place.
We had 6 downstairs with Rat Subs
and BSS Sound Web processing. The MicroWedge 8 i ultra small and
compact, perfect for putting hidden in their "tropical rainforest".
They were perfect for the low ambience sounds.
Upstairs, we had a small 8 channel
Soundcraft Mixer and 6 Rat Traps, 6 Subs and BSS Processing -
the same as downstairs. We ran the DJ through the Mixer and wireless mics.
The upstairs DJ used 2 Technics
SL-1200 MK2 Turntables. 1 Rane TTM 56 Mixer and
2 Pioneer CD Turntables # CDJ 1000 MK2.
