Most likely your decision would be: : "use 3 wide of 60 degree or 2 wide of 90 degree" : Three 60's will give you more SPL but also more interference as well. It is a volume/coverage/cost issue. : : 3. large or small? : Large is usually louder in horn world. Multiple smaller horns may give you wider or more coverage but costs more in drivers etc.. : Focusing on good sounding horns and then determine qty based on 60s, 90s or a combination to cover the area. : : i'm trying to figure out the best way to go here, any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks. : Long narrow rooms seem to prefer 60 degree horns, short wide rooms prefer 90s. : Well designed large horns tend to offer better pattern control but also tend to have a range of optimum frequency efficiency. This is the "honky" sound you get from them. : Short wide moth horns tend to have less pattern control, are less efficient but tend to sound smoother. : Hope that helps : Dave Rat
