What I have been doing most recently is runing a stereo aux into a high pass filter that recombines with the L and R inside the system processors. I then dull the L and R (pre combined) on the system parametric. I send things like lead Vox, HH and OH down the stereo aux.
I find that being able to cotrlo the tweet aux master from a VCA allows me to quickly add or remove the "sizzle" from the system
