: OK, so a friend has potential tour sponsorship and the remaining piece of the puzzle is a proposal outlining the resource requirements (buses, transportation, hotels, per diems, visas, food, crew, etc.) and the costs associated with all of this. Do you have something you can send me or a place online where I might locate this kind of info?
I would recommend hiring a "Production Manager" experienced in that area. If it is something you want to learn, then hire one and have him/her show you the ropes or consult. A good PM will have many connections and can save considerable money, time and grief by utilizing trusted vendors that they know and work with. additionally, they will know "going rates" for the various services.
An experienced PM can bid out the various services and put together a proposed budget while taking into account hidden costs etc...
If you would like some PM referrals, email me with some more info and I can send you some names.
