Hello Reeko,
Hmmm, I am not very familiar with Carvin gear but I do have friend that put a cost effective rig together using Mackie powered speakers and is quite happy.
Since putting a system together is so budget related, I think it would be a good idea to set a budget goal first and then that would help form the decisions. Or reform the budget.
I must admit that I am a bit 'out of the loop' on today's smaller systems so maybe someone else will post some suggestions.

: I am a member of Non-Bucket a local Punk Rock band from Kalispell, MT. We are looking to piece together a new pa from the ground up. Most of the venue we play dont house anymore than three or four hundred people but we like the system to be expandable. We are a four piece with two guitars one bass and drums. We have three vocalists. We want to be able to project a real professional sound when we play local gigs and when we travel. We are fan of carvin speakers and amps and a definite fan of audix mics. We were just wondering what you would recommend for us. We have a somewhat limited budget but we also realize that we get what we pay for.
: thanx
