: : Hi : : Riot in Hollywood? I'm clueless. What happened? : : Thanx, Eckhard : : Well, there was a free outdoor 'System of the Down' show put on by Sony Records in Hollywood last year. I was not there but way too many people showed up and the LA Fire Marshal in his infinite wisdom decided to shut down the show and call in the riot squad rather than let the band play and disperse people slowly. Seems the audience was not too excited about there not being music and being hit by billy clubs so they tore down the PA, danced on the consoles and stole everything that they could get. We had rented that 4KM to Industrial Sound (www.industrialsound.com) who was doing the PA for the show. I did some internet searches on news of the riot and strangely enough, it has all but vanished where as right after it happened it was all over the TV here and quite a few articles. : : The board is trashed so I posted it just for fun.
