Great article, it has me thinking. And it is sooo nice that a local sound man, like me, can get advice from someone in your position. I run sound for a small cover band and we have 2 amps. We run a mono config with a 3 chan. x-over. I use a/b of the larger amp(CS1000)for the lows. On the smaller amp (PV500), I use chan.A for the HF and chan.B for the MF. I'm courious if the power draws from the mid side(B) are affecting the output of hf side(A). I know the power output to the different freq. ranges isn't balance, but I don't want to use the PV500 on the lows for fear of overheating it in the middle of a set. I just keep the gain down going to the cs1000 to keep things in line.
