You have a small system?!
so you have a small desk!
on the desk...>>you go via >>inserts to your EQ !
on your desk >> you go via xlr to your left & right PA ?!
IF SO !
Go from desk: L & R >>to compressor.!
out of compressor XLR ..>>>to Left & Right IN of your PA !!!
Set you Compressor on: Gain at 0-DB and threshold on: min-0.5 DB and your compression on: 1:2..
That should be a safe start..
DON'T turn your amps down!!!
If amps are clipping TOO MUCH.(long)..turn compression in too more than 1:2...
If this guy who is doing sound go's wild ...put gain on -10 or -20 DB !!!
