Hey Mark, Do you want a pillow or a brick wall? If you want to protect your gear with no worries place your piece before your X-over and set in to infinity to 1 and accuate your threshold so you clamp down before your x-over input gets hit. If you want to be reasonable, set it 5:1 and watch your amps.
