: : What are your thoughts on drumfills and how would you incorperate the microwedge into a drumfill.
: Usually we had been sending out 1 Rat Trap plus a Rat Micro Sub for a loud mono Drum Fill and two Rat Traps and a Rat Micro Sub for stereo drum fills on most tours. This works well but can be a bit space consuming. More recently a stereo setup with 2 Micro 12's and either a Rat Micro Sub or a Rat Dual 18" Sub seems to be gaining popularity with our clients.
: On the Peppers/Queens of the Stone Age/Mars Volta tour that was just out, we started with mono Rat Trap fills on Queens and Mars but they both switched to the stereo MicroWedge/MicroSub setups. Both bands were happier with the Micro Setup. Peppers continue to use the stereo Rat Traps as they have for several tours.
: I have always liked the control and sound of stereo drum fills with small boxes and a sub dead center.

When you run a stereo fill with a sub do you run the sub from a seperate aux send?
