Hi, I'm a senior in highschool and my career goal is to either work for a touring company or own my own (you guys are my idols). Currently I own a bunch of equipment and do local gigs for bands in my area (boston), see my page for details http://www.geocities.com/dean2031 The top cabinets I use are custom built by me (15"/4x6.5"). I plan to go to college next year and continue my little business and hope to expand it and maybe do some touring with local bands. I plan to major in Electrical/Communication Engineering and minor in Sound Recording Technologies so I get a feel of how to fix/build the equipment and how to use it. Sorry for the long post I'm just wondering if that is what I should shoot for in college or is it something different, and if there is a future in this (yes I am willing to work my way up and not just start at the top, thats why im starting now at 17). Any advice is greatly appreciated. Keep up the great work I see you guys all the time at concerts!
